Staten Island Emergency Medical Training Center, Inc./dba SIEMT is an AHA, ARC, ASHI, and NAMET authorized training center as well as a New York Division of State EMS Course Sponsor (08-009) for EMS programs. SIEMT does not employ any of its instructors directly. All instructors are subcontracted by SIEMT and SIEMT Enterprises.

Students are required to arrive on time and prepared for any and all classes, or they risk not being admitted to the class, regardless of how late they may be. This is solely at the discretion of the lead instructor. NO EMT STUDENT WILL BE ADMITTED LATE TO A CLASS (they will have to wait until completion of the nightly quiz).

All sales are final, and no deposit will be refunded other than as detailed in our policy manual for EMS programs. Any payment in full will be forfeited should the student be a no-call, no-show to any class. Additionally, if a student leaves prior to the completion of any course, there will be no refunds and only credit applied towards a future class within 30 days, provided there are extenuating circumstances that are approved by the CEO.

Any class cancellations prior to the class actually taking place can be applied to a future course, provided it is used within 30 days of the missed class. If the credit is not used within the 30-day period, the student’s credit will automatically be forfeited.

If any refund is issued, for any reason, it will be issued by check or Zelle ONLY and will require the recipient to e-sign an acknowledgment of such. If a refund check is not cashed within 30 days, it will be voided and the refund forfeited.

SIEMT, SIEMT Enterprises, and any of its subsidiaries or associated businesses, and all of the contracted instructors reserve the right to dismiss or bar any student from any course/session at their sole discretion or after discussion with the CEO and Medical Director.

Should any attendee act in a manner that is a violation of SIEMT rules or policies, they will be warned and, if repeated, asked to leave. Should any student or instructor act in a manner that is possibly criminal, local law enforcement will be notified, and any and all information available to SIEMT will be provided to law enforcement.

SIEMT, SIEMT Enterprises, and any of its subsidiaries or associated businesses are equal opportunity businesses that do not discriminate against any person for any reason, including race, class, sexual orientation, gender, age, cultural background, ethnicity, political beliefs, or any other reason.

SIEMT, SIEMT Enterprises, and any of its subsidiaries or associated businesses reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without notice, and the Chief Executive Officer has the ability to decide on a case-by-case basis without regard for these terms and conditions.

SIEMT, SIEMT Enterprises, and any of their subsidiaries or associated businesses are not responsible for any actions taken by students upon completion of their respective training.
